Paramount+ releases the first trailer for Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, the new revival film starring fan-favorite idiots.

Beavis and Butt-Head are back in Paramount+’s relaunch movie trailer, Beavis and Butt-Head make the universe.

Along with the trailer, Paramount+ has released a brand new synopsis for the film:

In perhaps the dumbest space movie ever made, Beavis and Butt-head are sentenced to Space Camp by a “creative” judge in 1998, which leads to a trip on the space shuttle, with predictably disastrous results. After going through a black hole, they reappear in our time, where they seek love, abuse iPhones, and are hunted down by the Deep State. Spoiler: They don’t score.

Created by Mike Judge, Beavis and Butthead debuted in the 1992 short film baseball frog and soon received their own MTV series. The show centered on the eponymous ne’er-do-well teenagers and their fascination with television, music videos and women. The original series ran from 1993 to 1997 and was revived for a short run in 2011. It also received a theatrical film, Beavis and Butt-Head Do Americain 1996.

“We are thrilled to be working with Mike Judge and the amazing team at 3 Arts again as we double down on adult animation at Comedy Central,” ViacomCBS Entertainment and Youth Group President Chris McCarthy said during the last Beavis and Butthead the revival was announced in 2020. “Beavis and Butt-Head were a defining voice of a generation, and we can’t wait to watch them navigate the treacherous waters of a world light years away from their own.”

“It seemed like it was time to get stupid again,” Judge added.

The following year, it would be revealed that Beavis and Butt-Head’s return would take the form of a new film. Almost a year after that, the judge confirmed more Beavis and Butthead spinoffs were planned, though details about those plans remain scarce.

Beavis and Butt-Head make the universe arrives on Paramount+ on June 23. This will possibly be followed by a Darya film, based on the popular Beavis and Butthead derivative series.
