Yes, we know this melody. We have only played it 8,455,231 times since its release.

Marv and Harry may not be on the scene as Wet Bandits anymore, but the McCallisters are still here and Hollywood is always game for a sequel, reboot, revival or revival.

“Home Sweet Home Alone,” the latest film in the “Home Alone” franchise, is set to premiere on Disney Plus this fall. 20th Century Studios released a trailer on Tuesday.

Macaulay Culkin, whose performance as Kevin McCallister made the 1991 film and his 1992 sequel “Home Alone 2” holiday classics, is set to make a cameo appearance in the film.

Devin Ratray, who plays Kevin Buzz’s brother in the first two “Home Alone” films, returns as a cop in “Home Sweet Home Alone”.

12-year-old English actor Archie Yates (Yorki in “Jojo Rabbit”) plays Kevin’s new character, Max Mercer. Instead of France, Max’s mother, Carol Mercer, played by Irish actor Aisling Bea (“This Way Up”, “Living With Yourself”) is bound for Tokyo. Pete Holmes (“Crashing”) plays Max’s uncle, Blake Mercer.

Ellie Kemper, alumnus of Princeton University (“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”) and Rob delaney (“Catastrophe”) play the burglars Pam and Jeff Fritzovski. Ridgewood actor Andrew Daly and “Saturday Night Live” stars Kenan Thompson, Mikey Day and Chris Parnell are also part of the cast.

The film will be released on November 12 on Disney Plus.
