Marvel Studios has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming film.
LOS ANGELES — A new trailer for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” debuted this weekend.
Just before kickoff during Sunday’s Super Bowl coverage at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles, Marvel Studios released a brand new trailer for the upcoming film, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Elizabeth Olsen and Benedict Wong.
The full trailer release comes two months after an initial trailer was released as the post-credits scene of “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”
The new trailer follows Cumberbatch’s Dr. Stephen Strange taking the repercussions of his multiverse-bending actions in “No Way Home.” Marvel Cinematic Universe fans can also see Strange seek out Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff, now dubbed the Scarlet Witch, still dealing with the fallout of her actions from the Disney+ series “WandaVision.”
You can watch the two-minute trailer below.
The two-minute trailer also gives viewers a deeper look at Kamala Khan’s introduction to Xochitl Gomez, also known in Marvel Comics as Ms. Marvel.
The film, directed by Sam Raimi (“Spider-Man,” “The Evil Dead”), is set to hit theaters on May 6.
