After she’s done with the Barbie movie (which is currently filming), Margot Robbie has signed on to star in a prequel movie for Ocean 11 and its subsequent sequels. According to Deadline, the story will be mostly set in Europe and will take place decades before George Clooney’s Danny Ocean and his cronies embark on extravagant heists and hijackings.
Little is known about the project at this point other than an expected production window which is expected to begin in the spring of next year. This may even extend to characters from the all-female 2018 spin-off, Eight from the ocean.

Ocean 11 and its subsequent sequels remain memorable for the star-studded names they added to their cast, so it will be really interesting to find out who appears in the set for the new film.
