After winning ratings for Lifetime on board made-for-TV movies ‘Everyday is Christmas,’ ‘Faith under fire,’ and the biography ‘Unbreak My Heart,’ R&B icon Toni Braxton returns to the network as star and executive producer of “Fallen Angel Murder Club”.
Based on “Hollis Morgan Mystery” franchised by R. Franklin James. ‘Fallen’ is a multi-movie series with April premiere dates tied to its first two installments – “Friends to Die For” and “Heroes and Criminals.”
Before the premiere of the first Saturday (April 2), Lifetime has lifted the lid on an extended preview of the film.

“Members of the Fallen Angels Murder Club must have two things in common: a love of books and a criminal record. Hollis Morgan (Toni Braxton) meets both requirements. When a member of his book club is murdered in a scene straight out of the previous night’s novel, Hollis comes under police scrutiny. Refusing to get stuck with another bad rap, Hollis sets out to investigate her fellow club members and after a second book-inspired murder, she races to identify the killer before becoming the next victim. Also stars Eddie Cibrian.
