Young Woman And The Sea adds Christopher Eccleston to its cast, to join Daisy Ridley already on board: more details here.
A whole cast is coming together for a brand new movie that Disney is making for its streaming service. young woman and the sea has already started filming, under the watchful eye of director Joachim Ronning (Kon Tikithe last Pirates of the Caribbean film).
Based on the book by Glenn Stout, the film tells the story of the woman who became the first to swim across the English Channel in 1926. Daisy Ridley will take on the role.
She is also joined by Christopher Eccleston, who is the latest addition to the cast. Tilda Cobham-Harvey and Stephen Graham are already on board.

Disney hasn’t announced a release date for the film, and it’s not expected to hit theaters at all. Instead, don’t be surprised if it shows up on Disney+ at the very end of the year, or maybe more likely in 2023. We’ll keep you posted.
